Ecosystem Health and Sustainability – a Science Partner Journal publishes research on advances in sustainability ecology and how global environmental change affects ecosystem health. Papers focus on applying ecological theory, principles, and concepts to support sustainable development, especially in the areas undergoing rapid environmental change.

Ecosystem Health and Sustainability – a Science Partner Journal aims for the top international journal in ecology and sustainability science. It has been indexed by all the academic directories (SCI, Scopus et al.). The Impact Factor is 4.9 and ranks 32 out of 171 (Q1) in the category of “Ecology” according to the Journal Citation Reports 2022. The CiteScore is 6.6, which ranks 61 out of 437 (Q1) in the category of “Ecology”.

The Editorial Board of Ecosystem Health and Sustainability is currently composed of 98 internationally known scientists in ecology, environment and related fields from 27 countries. Prof. Yonglong Lu, Chair Professor at Xiamen University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as the founding Editor-in-Chief through a global search process. Prof. Carlo Calfapietra from the National Research Council of Italy and Prof. Hanqin Tian from Boston College of USA serve as Associate Editors.

With increasing submissions, we are calling on eligible early career ecologists to join the Editorial Board of Ecosystem Health and Sustainability. Young promising scholars (less than 38 years old for males and 40 years old for females) who have a strong academic background in ecosystem services, social ecology, marine ecology, animal ecology, plant ecology, biodiversity ecology, and ecological modelling, good record in publishing in top ecology-related journals, good at teamwork, and responsible guys, are welcome to join the Editorial Board.
